Military
1. Where are recruiting offices located?
Each
of the five military sects has a website. On those websites is information
on where the closest recruiting office is to you. You can also go
to www.militarycareers.com
to get phone numbers for each branch, and links to each website.
2.
What questions should I ask the recruiter?
Don’t worry about your questions sounding immature or dumb,
the point of the recruiter is to let you know everything that will
be going on. Bring a notepad if you think it will help you remember
what to ask.
Some
sample questions are:
What
exactly will I be doing?
What about benefits/salaries?
What are fringe benefits?
What are postings?
What kind of educational opportunities are there?
What are the requirements to join?
Will I get financial aid for college?
What is expected of me when I join?
If
you are not ready to go to a recruiter yet you can visit http://www.learnatest.com/military/home.cfm
and get some answers to common questions.
