BETA Program
The BETA (Beginning Employment & Training for Adulthood) program
has changed. The YMCA Independent Living Program now offers similar
employment services to transitioning foster youth.
These services
include a comprehensive vocational and life skills assesment and
group training. The training focuses on pre-employment preparation
and demonstration of job-seeking skills.
Job referral
and job-placement support services are also offered.
